Set Up Instructions

We just added a Velcro strap to secure the hose higher up on the leaf blower tube.  This will help take out the slack in the hose.  We will update our instructions video in the near future.

Many leaf blower tubes are made up of two or three sections.  Removing a section piece may allow easier attachment of the nozzle.


HOME DEPOT & HUDSON HANDHELD TANK TIPS:
If using handheld Home Depot or Hudson pump tank, clip the wand handle into the pump handle while using.  This allows the user only to have to hold onto one handle while working the valve on the wand handle. 


Also leave pump handle in the extended position while spraying, this will allow the user to easily set the tank on ground and quickly pump all while continuing to spray.

APPLICATION TIPS

  • First make sure no rain is in the forecast for at least the next 24-48 hours after application as rain may wash the insecticide off 
  • Apply during hottest part of the day when mosquitoes are hiding and resting
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment: mask (NIOSH Approved N95 or better), glasses, long sleeves and pants
  • Put children and pets inside
  • Spray dense ground cover plants, in and under thick shrubbery, small or bushy trees, underside of decks, porches, or other shady areas.  Pay particular attention to the shady, moist areas that mosquitoes prefer
  • Concentrate on spraying foliage from the ground up to 6 to 8 feet 
  • Avoid spraying bodies of water
  • Allow 1 hour to dry, for pet and child safety
  • Apply about every 3 weeks or when mosquitoes are noticeable
  • Do not apply more than once every 14 days

Mosquito Sniper System uses your leaf blower which has a stronger volume of air flow than a professional mist blower.  We recommend standing back a little further than this video recommends if you have delicate plants your spraying.


Blower force is critical to get foliage to move around so that insecticide can get on the underside of leaves.
